This Web site uses Google Analytics, a Web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics makes use of so-called “cookies,” i.e. text files saved on your computer, allowing an analysis of your use of the Web site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Web site will normally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. If you select the IP anonymisation on this Web site, your IP address, however, will be truncated beforehand within the member states of the European Union or another contract state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this Web site, Google shall use this information in order to evaluate your use of the Web site; create reports on the Web site activities; and render more services to the Web site operator in the context of the use of the Web site and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google. You can avoid the storage of cookies by appropriately adjusting your browser software; we would like to make you aware of the fact, however, that in this case it is possible that you will not be able to use fully all the functions of this Web site. Moreover, you may prevent data that was produced by the cookie and relates to your use of the Web site (including IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

External content and/or processing of data outside the EU

We use active JavaScript contents provided by external suppliers on our Web site. When you access our Web site, these external suppliers may receive personal information about your visit to our Web site. In this case, data processing outside the EU is possible. You can avoid this by installing a JavaScript blocker such as the browser plug-in “NoScript” (www.noscript.net) or by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. This can, however, cause functional restrictions on the Web sites you visit.

Social media buttons

We embed disabled social media buttons on our Web site for sharing on Facebook and tweeting on Twitter. Without your consent, your personal data will not be sent to the operators of the aforementioned network platforms. Only when you click on one of the buttons are they enabled, and your personal data will be transmitted to the respective network platform. By clicking on a social media button, you give your consent in accordance with Section 4a of the Saarland Data Protection Act (SDSG) for data transfer to the respective network platform provider(s).

Facebook:
By clicking on the Facebook social media buttons on our Web site, plug-ins of the company Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States, or its subsidiary Facebook Ireland Ltd., Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland (Facebook) will be reloaded. If you enabled scripts in your browser and have not installed any script blocker, your browser, without asking separately, will transmit personal data to Facebook. When logged in, a direct assignment of the data to your Facebook profile is possible. We are not aware of what data Facebook links with the personal data obtained and for what purposes Facebook uses this data. For details, see the data protection statement of Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy). When you access a Web page of our Web site that contains plug-ins of Twitter, your browser builds a direct connection with the servers of Twitter. Through this, personal data might be sent to Twitter so that Twitter receives information that you personally have accessed the corresponding Web page of our Web site. Twitter might be able to assign your visit on our Web site to your Twitter account. Even after the user logs out from Twitter, data is transmitted to Twitter. The log out only prevents the assignment of the data to a Twitter account. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of data by Twitter as well as your rights in this respect and the settings to protect your privacy, please refer to the privacy statement of Twitter (https://twitter.com/privacy). If you do not want for Twitter to collect data about you via our Web site, you must set the function “Do not track” in your browser before your visit to our Web site (https://support.twitter.com/articles/20169453); or alternatively shut off the use of plug-ins from Twitter; or totally block the execution of scripts for the domain twitter.com, e.g. with the script blocker from www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com.
